Embark on the 9-Day Northern Kimberley Cruise, an extended journey through some of the region’s more northern highlights. Travelling aboard our luxury vessel with just 12 guests, you’ll experience the mighty Berkeley River, the thundering King George Falls, and the ancient rock art of Vansittart Bay and Jar Island. With opportunities to fish, swim in secluded pools, and feast on freshly caught seafood, this itinerary balances adventure with relaxation. Concluding with a helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls and a scenic plane transfer to Broome, it’s an unforgettable way to experience the wild beauty of the Kimberley.
ITINERARY

A seamless adventure, enjoy courtesy pick up from your Kununurra accommodation, 9 days exploring the Kimberley coast before a complimentary scenic plane and helicopter flight back to Broome from your day 9 location, Hunter River.
Day 1: Depart Wyndham/Kununurra (Afternoon)
Guests are collected from their Kununurra accommodation at 2.30pm and board the vessel in Wyndham at approximately 4:00pm.
Once on board, you will have the opportunity to meet the other guests and crew, be shown your accommodation and taken through our safety procedures. Whilst the skipper steams out of Wydnham, relax with a drink and nibbles as we cruise around to Berkeley River

Day 2: Berkeley River
Wake up and enjoy breakfast on the way up the Berkeley River as the landscape changes before you. Grab your rod and steam to the head of the river where the fresh water pours over the rock bars, a prime spot for Barramundi. Head back to Diversity for lunch before we move the boat further down the river. The afternoon will be lazy, enjoying a glass of bubbles in a fresh water swimming hole, before returning to the boat for dinner.
Day 3 & 4: King George Falls
The breathtaking King George River is the most popular site in the Kimberley. As we place the bow of Diversity under the 84m high waterfall, you will feel the true power of this simply epic landscape. Enjoy a walk and a light dip. After lunch have a swim in the beautiful King George crack, and head out the front for some awesome Bluewater fishing.

Day 5: Drysdale
Enjoy the magic of the Bradshaw art that covers Vansittart Bay. With an abundance of Bluewater fishing options, here is one of the best locations for fresh sashimi. This afternoon we cruise to Vansittart Bay.
Day 6: Vansittart Bay
Discover the rich history of the Kimberley as you explore the ancient Bradshaw rock art sites of Jar Island and Truscott. Savor fresh oysters straight from the rocks before cooling off with a refreshing beach swim. After lunch, step back in time with a visit to the remarkable WWII DC-3 plane wreck, a haunting relic of the region’s wartime past.

Day 7: Mitchell River
Wake up in another magic spot, the Mitchell River. One of the best locations to find that elusive Barramundi. After the morning fish, enjoy the cooling waters at Surveyor’s Pool. Mud crabs and Barra are on the menu for lunch as we steam out towards Swift Bay.
Day 8: Wynyalkin/Swift Bay
Take in the magic of the Wandjina art of the area, and another opportunity to fish on the last day.

Day 9: Scenic Flight to Broome
After breakfast in Hunter River, disembark the vessel and board a helicopter waiting on the beach to fly through the Mitchell Falls to the airstrip where you will board a 2 hour scenic flight over the coastline, arriving back in Broome at approximately 2pm.
